We are originally from Maine and purchased Loons Nest Cottage in 2013 to ensure our children have the opportunity to experience summers in Maine the way we did as kids. Beech Hill Pond is a very special place as it is close to Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor, but provides a peaceful retreat after a day of hiking and sightseeing. The lake is great for kayaking and canoeing, or just watching the Loons.
